The 18th Annual Indian National Stroke Conference of Indian Stroke Association, INSC 2025 will be held in
Lucknow20th March – 23rd March, 2025
In this highly dynamic era of medical science, the exchange of ideas and experience can guide us to deal with the challenges in clinical practice. We believe that upcoming residents doing DM or DNB Neurology need assorted opportunities to prove their talent through healthy competition.
The stroke Quiz is one of the most exciting and thrilling quiz-awaited sessions of the INSC 2025 conference.
This Quiz will include MCQs, diffcult real life cases, historical events in Neurology, challenges in Stroke management rounds and much more…
The Stroke Quiz online round will comprise written multiple-choice questions.
This competition is essential for DM/DNB students (first, second, third year) from all over India.
All teaching neurology departments across the country will be divided into four zones
- North Zone:New Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh
- South Zone: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Telangana
- West Zone: Chattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan
- East zone: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Tripura and West Bengal
Registration:
It is mandatory to register for participation in the quiz which provides you with an unique passcode.
For registration, log on to the INSC website (https://insc2025.in/index.php), follow the Stroke Quiz link displayed prominently on the home page, and register to generate your unique user ID and password.
It will be mailed to your registered email id.
Stroke Quiz Rounds:
It consists of two rounds,
1. Online (Screening Round)
- The online round is scheduled for February 20th at 7:00 PM. The assessment will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions to be completed within a 20-minute timeframe.
- From this preliminary round, 20 candidates will be selected to proceed to the quiz round in Lucknow, with five representatives from each zone.
Rules for the Online Screening Round:
- Number of MCQ’s 30
- Time allotted: 20 minutes
- Use of Laptop or Desktop is highly recommended over any mobile or tablet device
- Standard browsers like Google, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox & Apple Safari are recommended
- Participants will not be permitted to join the session after 7:05 PM. It is mandatory to keep both the video and microphone of the system activated throughout the round. Any form of unfair practice will result in disqualification. Final terms and conditions will be communicated via email upon completion of registration.
- Once you begin the quiz you will not be allowed to re-attempt, even if you leave it midway. High bandwidth internet connectivity is best suited for a Quiz, ensuring the same shall remain solely, your responsibility.
- Each correct answer will fetch you +4 points
- There will be negative score of -1 for each wrong answer
- Top 5 scorers from each zone will move to the FINAL ROUND at Lucknow
- If there is a tie in the ELIMINATION ROUND score, time taken to complete the quiz will be considered(Fastest Finger First). If there is a tie even after the timings, seniority in the DM / DNB course will be considered. If 2 tied participants have the same seniority date of birth criteria will be considered (senior candidate will be given a higher position).
2. Rules for the Offline Round
A. Preliminary round:
- It will be held at INSC; Lucknow 21st March 2025 Friday.
- Pattern of the contest: Participants will go through various rounds as MCQs, Spotters, etc.
B. Final Challenge Round :
- It will be held at INSC; Lucknow 23rd March 2025 Sunday.
- Selection: Out of 20 participants top 4 contestent from priliminary round will be selected for the final challenge round.
