Greetings!

The 18^th Annual Indian National Stroke Conference of the Indian Stroke Association (INSC 2025) will be held in Lucknow from 20th March – 23^rd March, 2025.

In this dynamic era of medical science, the exchange of ideas and experiences is essential in helping us address the challenges in clinical practice. We believe that the upcoming residents pursuing DM or DNB Neurology need diverse opportunities to showcase their talents through healthy competition.

The Stroke Quiz is one of the most exciting and eagerly awaited sessions of the INSC 2025 conference.

This quiz will include MCQs, challenging real-life cases, historical events in Neurology, Stroke management challenges, and much more!

Stroke Quiz – Online Screening Round

The online screening round will be held on 26th February 2025 at 7:00 PM. Candidates can join by using a unique ID (which will be provided upon registration) on one single device only. Participants are requested to join 30 minutes before the quiz start time for verification.

Registration:

It is mandatory to register for participation in the quiz, which will provide you with a unique passcode. To register:

Visit the INSC website: https://insc2025.in/index.php Follow the Stroke Quiz link displayed on the homepage. Complete the registration to generate your unique user ID and password, which will be mailed to your registered email ID.

Rules for Online Screening Round:

Number of MCQs: 40

Time allotted: 30 seconds for the first 20 questions, and 1 minute for the last 20 questions.
Use of Laptop/Desktop is highly recommended over mobile/tablet devices. Standard browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari are recommended.
Participants will not be allowed to join the session after 6.45 PM. Both the video and microphone must be activated throughout the round. Any form of unfair practice will result in disqualification.
Once you begin the quiz, you will not be allowed to re-attempt or resume if you leave the quiz midway.
High bandwidth internet connectivity is advised to ensure a smooth experience, and maintaining this will be your responsibility.

Scoring:

Each correct answer will fetch +4 points.
Incorrect answers will incur a -1 point penalty.
Top 8 candidates from the online screening round will be selected for the Offline Final Round at Lucknow.

Tie-breaker:

In case of a tie in the elimination round score, the candidate with the least time taken and maximum correct responses will be considered the winner. In special cases, a tiebreaker round will be held.

Final Round( offline):

The Final round will be held in Lucknow on 23st March 2025 (Sunday) at INSC.
The top 8 candidates from the online screening round will participate in this final challenge.
The organizing team will cover the registration, travel, and hospitality of the top 8 candidates in twin-sharing accommodation in Lucknow.

Additional Notes:

Attractive prizes and trophies will be awarded to the winners in the offline round.
